Drawing is the most natural and simple form of artistic expression. It constitutes the basis, the ultimate means of expressing our vision by making it possible to translate what we see, what we imagine or what we feel. Any artist, no matter what style he prefers, must master drawing and practice it regularly. Whether it requires a few minutes or hours, or even days to perform, drawing will always be an initiative in creation and a manifestation of expression, purely and simply.
Here are some examples of drawings made with graphite, PrismaColor pencils and oil pastels. The piece Ma violette préférée (My Favorite Violet) was reproduced in lithograph in 1986.
